Sustainability
Dr. Eamon believes in supporting local businesses, buying supplies from local merchants and using local businesses for all services.
Community
After many years of doing free screenings in the local schools, Dr. Eamon is now doing the ESEL program. The ESEL program promotes early eye care to families of children in junior kindergarten.
THE ESEL PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE GLASSES TO CHILDREN IN JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN.
World Sight Day
Dr. Eamon supports World Sight Day to provide eye care and develop new clinics for under-serviced people. Every year on World Sight Day, she donates proceeds from that day’s eye exams to Optometry Giving Sight, to set up eye care centers in underserved communities. This is the 14th year she has taken part in this program and is also the largest global fundraising event to avoid blindness due to uncorrected eye problems. In order to mark this occasion, Dr. Eamon and staff wear World Sight Day t-shirts. We also decorate our office with balloons and posters.
