We Put the Care in Eye Care

Dear patients, due to COVID 19, I am unable to see routine eye care. Until April 5th, I have been seeing emergency patients every day, but I no longer have any protective gear and it is not safe to be in close contact. If you have an emergency, please go to the Ottawa General Hospital. If you have a non -emergency matter, please send me an email. We will be rescheduling appointments as soon as it is safe to do so.  I appreciate your understanding.

Helpful Tips

Your glasses have been designed to suit your visual needs and your frame has been customized to fit you. Now it is time to take care of your investment. Here are some tips to get the most out of your glasses:

  • Clean them properly only use the special cloth and spray that you were given when your glasses were fitted. Wash the cloth every couple of weeks to stop it from accumulating debris that can scratch your glasses. The spray is specially made for anti-reflection lenses and will not leave a film. When you run out of the small bottle, drop by for a refill.

  • Get your glasses adjusted every few months, don’t wait for them to fall down your nose. This is especially important with progressive lenses, as they can move out of the perfect alignment, which can affect their performance.

  • If you wear glasses with soft nose pads, they may eventually become discoloured and may be replaced, just drop in and see us.
